Common Questions

We tend to mix pretty fast and focus on playing just the good parts. That being said, it always depends on the crowd, the song, and the genre! For a generational banger like "No Hands" we might play two or three verses, but for "Hollaback Girl" we play one verse, one chorus, and skip to "This Shit is Bananas." Whereas for a salsa, we’ll probably let the song ride, so guests can share a whole dance with their partner. It's all about reading the crowd and keeping the energy flowing, without ever letting a song drag.

Absolutely - it wouldn't be your wedding without your preferences, right? We specifically ask for "Do Not" lists and even maintain our own list of 30 overplayed songs we avoid. For weddings, we tend to stay away from overplayed songs like the Cha-Cha Slide, Uptown Funk, or Pharrell's Happy. Most couples who reach out to us want their sound to be a little different from the mainstream wedding.

We handle requests based on your preferences and three key factors: Is it a good request? - Are they a VIP like a parent? - Does it align with your vision?
If you're an "absolutely no requests" couple, we respect that completely - it's all decided in our final planning meeting.

Yes, we bring all professional equipment for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Incredible sound and lighting that bumps throughout the whole room - no awkward microphone cutouts or ear-blasting cheap speakers. We use professional gear to get the job done right.

Yes! We love collaboration - that's what makes this job unique. If we played the same playlist every night, we'd start to die inside. Our exclusive planning app helps us coordinate every aspect from ceremony entrance songs to the last dance, with custom instructions for every song.

Yes and no. We always host. But we don’t always hype. Hosting means welcoming people, spotlighting you, and guiding the night. But hyping we season to taste. Some couples want more energy, others let the music speak for itself. We tend to go easy on the mic and let the music do the talking.

Absolutely. We're well-versed in all Latin cultures, Caribbean countries, and regional differences throughout the US. This is South Florida - one of the most diverse wedding markets in the world. Where would we be if we weren't masters of multicultural genres?

Weddings are a big part of what I do, but I’m available for all kinds of events. If you’ve got a celebration in mind, I’d love to help bring the energy.

"We love how he was able to read the room and feed off of everyone's vibes."
